About the Governor's Mansion Preservation Foundation
The Governor's Mansion Preservation Foundation was created by former First Lady Alice Foster. She wanted her legacy to be that she restored the mansion into the beauty it deserved. To that end, she raised $2,000,000 through a grassroots campaign. Our current First Lady Donna Edwards is committed to carrying on Mrs. Foster’s vision.

Governor's Mansion Ornament Collection
Ornaments are available from 2001-2011 and 2016-2023. Each ornament was designed by the administration that year and each one highlights a different staple of Louisiana.
